i just swapped out an 88 suburban 5.7 litre v8 and now that i ahve it in place i cant remember where the vacum lines go to. if anyone has any answers it would be great.

 

You could go to your local library and look for resources there. I tried searching the web for you, but couldn't locate a source there. Manuals are available by Mitchell, Motors, and others that have the info you are looking for.

You could also find a like vehicle on a lot (maybe a neighbor has one) and study under the hood and take notes. Some of the routing maye be pretty simple, and some may be mysterious. I've been through it before and it isn't much fun.
