I have the CostalTech installed in my 07 Tahoe. It works very well. Sound quality is good. The only issue is the interface is a bit confusing / awkward to use. With a little practice, though, it's pretty functional.

I also have the Coastal. I agree the interface is cumbersome at times, but I don't think it has the 31 catagories limitation as others have. None of the adapters out there have a shuffle or random mode unless you can access the Ipod direct thru a "Manual Mode" which the Coastal does NOT have, but the Scosche does.

Question - I just ordered this from coastal tech, and saw two RCA jacks on it. Any chance you could pipe audio into those jacks?

I was trying to see how I could pipe in Sirius into the truck without doing any mods. I would not mind not having anything on the display, as it would be on the sirius receiver display.

Worst case, I can always use the adapter for my I Touch . . .

Yes... you can pipe into them... On the Nav screen, you can choose iPod, Radio, or AUX.

I have the same one.

Hey Guys,

Newbie here, I just bought a 07 LT3 Hoe and was wondering if its hard to install the IPOD lockpick. I know it says that it only takes 2 minutes to install but is it really that easy.

Also, can you tell me which brand is better, Scosche or Coastal? What are their differences?

Thanks!

Actually... it takes 3 minutes - you need time to arrange everything in the glove box so it'll close again.
