I'm still hoping to use the BlueTooth microphone for my Kenwood...
Just read this about usng the Onstar microphone...
"if you are trying to use the OnStar mic without the OnStar module than you need to bias it. I tried biasing with a 1K resister to 9V and that worked fine. I also did a 1k/1k voltage divider to the 12V car supply and that worked, too. I don't know if there will be noise issues with using the car supply, though, so it may be prudent to use a voltage regulator. "
