Default I'm a Tahoe girl!

Just picked her up yesterday. 04 LS that's loaded. A little bit of rust on the rocker panels. Would love some ideas to enhance it. I love tough looking trucks.

Congrats on your new ride. Are you aiming to improve the aesthetic look or performance?

Well I just broke her in on a long road trip. She was perfect, though there is a little creaking noise on the drivers side when I first accelerate.

I'd like to improve gas mileage, debadge (never done it before), and add a new gps/nav stereo. Killing me to not be able to play music from my droid. Honestly, looking for some ideas. Don't have tons to spend but would still like to explore some options.

A little of both. Hoping to haul a travel trailer next year, too.

She's pretty as is. Maybe get an exhaust, air intake filter, cargo basket up top. Some BF Goodrich ATs will make her look a little tougher, but she's really nice and pretty as is.

Youtube has some great vids on debadging, its easy just be patient. The very first thing I would do is a complete tune-up. All the performance pieces in the world wont help if your engine is out of tune. Means plugs, wires, filters etc. Next thing I would do is a tune of some sort. Plenty of options.
Exhaust will give a rumble which nice, intake.......meh, you will find plenty of data that says the current intake is pretty good. For towing you really want to make sure you have plenty of torque.
The oher thing that goes a long way for me personally is making sure the cab is clean.....shampooed carpets, cleaned leather.... I assume its leather......look for my post on using tide as a cleaner, works great.
On the outside clay bar your paint and wax.It will give a work out but it sure is worth the effort. My paint is slick and dirt free and she looks great.

Will definitely claybar and wax it. Did this twice a year on my 04 GC which is why it still looks great. Thanks for the other tips, too. So happy to have this beautiful beast.
