I'm hoping someone has an answer for this, title isn't completely accurate. Got an '01 Tahoe and on occasion while I'm driving my Parking Brake indicator and ABS indicators come on while I'm driving than go out after a bit. No codes no other problems it just kind of throws me off at times. Thanks for any info and help.

 

so your scan tool can access chassis codes? Most low end tools can access the ebcm. What are you using to retrieve codes?

 

My dads' scan tool is one of the higher end ones and this has happened before and no codes. Recently though I have been unable to check due to scan tool not connecting to vehicle systems.

IF its not connection you need to check fuses...

 

It's an OTCtools genesys scan tool it's about 3 or so years old but does the job
