Default Inexpensive upgrades to improve fuel economy

$92 is what I just spent to fill up the 2005 Tahoe.

I was wondering if I could get some recommendations on some relatively inexpensive performance upgrades that I could do to increase better gas mileage.

K&N cold air is obvious but I hear that only can add a few MPG.
What about computer performance programmers?

Thanks for the help!

Default RE: Inexpensive upgrades to improve fuel economy

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Close examination of most CAIs and cat back exhausts reveal that any hp improvements are at the upper rpm band where you spend very little time and most posters haven't seen any serious mpg improvements.

Now programmers are a different story. I saw marginal improvement in mpg w/ my Superchips. Others have seenbetter with Edge and also custom programs.
