I can't find it mentioned anywhere in the manual for our '13 Burb. There are 4 headphone icons on the screen and sometimes one is lit up. I thought maybe it was to show one of the headphones was on but it is not that. What the heck are they?

 

I don't have them but then I have the DVD based Nav. Have you checked the manual?

I have attached an image of the four icons on the nav screen that I believe you are talking about. (A red box has been placed around the icons) You are right, these icons are used throughout the manual, but no where are they identified.

The first is mute. This is through the mute button on the right side of steering wheel, button in the middle (Looks like a person speaking)

The second is for voice recognition press SRCE on steering for 4 seconds to access. Page # 72

The third is when a headphone is plugged into the rear seat headphone jack

The fourth is when you are in a bluetooth phone call or onstar is active with the system
