Default Installed After Market System...Indicator VERY LOUD!

Just got the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB installed on my 07 LS and it's a single din. Well since getting it installed from Best Buy when you use the indicator you can hear a loud noise under the CD player where there is that open space from the new dash kit. Is that because of the space or did they do something wrong in installation?

Also, the buttons on the steering wheel DO NOT work. I don't think that they installed the adapter that I paid for.

the indicator that you here is probably a separate chime module that was installed. It usually has a volume control on it that you can turn down the chimes with. If not, have them put some insulation and tape on the deaden the sound.

As far as your steering wheel controls, you have to install a separate steering wheel contol module. You probably paid for just the interface module to do the radio which controls your chimes, your Retain Acessory Power,OnStar and your Factory Back-Up alarms if you have them.
