Default Installing HIDS on 07 Hoe, Help???

Well I just got my H11 6500k HID kit that I bought online. I opened up the hood and tried to figure out how I could just "Plug and Play" my HIDs without having to dismantle anything, and well there really isnt much room on either side to manuever without having to take anything apart. So I started to take apart the headlights to see if I can get some more space, didnt get much. The best way to really do a good install is by removing the headlights, and thats probably a mission in itself since you need to know on how to remove the front bumper.

So for the guys on here who have installed HIDS, would you please chime in and maybe provide a step by step process or something close to it on how to install HIDs by removing the headlights or by creating the necessary room behind the headlight to work around in. You provide the steps and I will privide the pics when I do my install. In the end this thread could be included in the FAQ.

ok therer is no need to remove the bumper i insatlled my in under 20 minutes. all i did was remove the top screws that hold the headlight.then gently stared pulling on the headlight assembly until i had enough room to fit my hand and be able to remove the oem lightbulb. if you can remove it you can surly install the hid one.just put in the hid bul into pla ce then slide the headlight back into place ans put the screws back in again.and the you can conect the factory harnes to youre balast tha came with the hids.hope tha helps. remember you can pull just enought of the headlights to fit youre hand in therer with ou having to remove the entire thing and not even touch the bumper.i did it.

ok i went out to look at it just to refresh my memory.the right one is very easy where th e water container is is a little flap just pull it out and you have acces to the lightbulb, ona the left hand you just remove the upper bolt and the bolt looking forward adn pull out the headlight assenbly a cuople of inches, you should be able to fit youre hand in there.

did your kit come with relay wiring? save yourself the trouble now and make sure you wire it with a relay to the battery. there have already been numerous posts here regarding the ballasts false starting. im assuming the stock headlight wires have limited power.
