Default Intake vs. Programmer Opinions

I am wanting to give my '07 Tahoe a little more pep in its step for lack of a better term. I have been looking at the Edge Evolution programmer and a Tru-Flow XDI Xtreme Duty intake. I'd like to know your opinions on which one to buy first.... and.... if the programmer would be asufficient addition without adding the intake? Also...will these additions void the warranty? Thanks

You will not really feel any big difference from the intake. Folks claim "seat of the pants" difference, but really, honestly, there isn't that much improvement. New cars' intakesare already tweaked at the factory pretty darn good. The programmer will make a huge difference. Will it void your warranty? I have not had any issues.

I agree about the CAIs, even K&N's increase is up at the upper rpm band where you aren't going to spend much time.

As to warranty, I don't think so but if it's like SuperChips, just be sure to put the stock program back in before going to dealer in case they decide to do an upgrade.
