Default invision dvd headrest systems?

Found thishttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=154128 on another forum so I checked into this system on the GM website. I called the guy and he is selling them for $1450.00.....does anyone have any experience with these? It seems like a really good deal and I am thinking of getting a set. Thanks in advance. Sam

Are they the same as these...

You'd think if he was so overstocked he would give a little better discount than $200. By the way, welcome to the forum!

You have to be very careful. headrest kits that Invision makes for GM, are ok, and the ones they make under Invision logo, are not that great. I've installed a few sets of both.
newer model vizualogic headrest kits are more flexible as far as optionsand very user friendly. and cheaper

Where do you fish the wires through to power the DVD units with the GM set?

I got my GM set alot cheaper. I'd keep looking if I was you. Try looking at ebay for a better deal for the same thing.

Default You should look elsewhere

The system GM uses is years old. You can find a great set of 9" headrest dvds for a third of their price. I advise user an istaller to make the right connections. I used the GM Lockpick 320 and it provided all the necessary connections. Now I have 3 DVDs which can all play together or independently.
