Default Just brought her home...now what

After stalking new(er) body Tahoes I finally puller the trigger and came home with a 2009 LTZ Black on Black most all options. So here's the question.

What should I spend the $1000 burning a whole in my pocket to upgrade?

Thanks for the ideas,

Welcome to the forum
Congrats on your new toy purchase

Some things I think of,

Window tint
factory service manuals

Not sure what all you already have and what you are looking to do...
post some pictures of the new ride...

In2Pro, Thanks for the welcome!

There is already pretty good tint on the back 1/2 of the car. Might get the fronts done eventually (want to avoid police/tickets?)

As for my list, Im thinking about an intake, exhaust, and a chip - performance wise.

New tires, something with a little more sidewall aggression.

Cant to it all, just looking to save time, hearing other's success stories. Pics to come!

Thanks Again,

Forget the Chip. Get a Tuner like an Edge CTS. This way when you take it to the dealer for service you can remove the Tune and bring it back to stock. I
would go for aftermarket wheels unless you like the stockers

I guess I'm just too to doggone practical. Its a 2009...so 4 years old. Probably a lease, no? So the PO probably did zero preventive maintenance. If you did not get any records, I'd assume nothing has been done to it.

For starters, probably change engine oil/filter, transmission fluid, differentials, and radiator coolant. Maybe brake and power steering fluids, too. Get it on a maintenance schedule. Haynes/Chiltons or Factory Service manual would probably be a good investment, too.

I would tend to agree with this... do some of the more critical maintenance items if you can't determine if they were already done... if you do them all, do them in stages though, so that if you introduce any gremlins they are a bit easier to vet out...
Might also check with the dealership you bought it from( if you bought if from a dealership) they may have the records for it...
When I bought my daughters Cobalt (used from a Ford dealership) and took it in for its oil change at my preferred Chevy dealership , we found out that the PO also used the same Chevy dealer to do the servicing
