K2500 front end suspension replacement
I have a k2500 1999 suburban 7.4 liter.
the front end is “smack wore out” as the mechanic said. So bad I have parked it.
I would appreciate recommendations on where to get replacement kit. Upper and lower ball, idler Pittman etc.
mechanic said parts would be around 500.
do you recommend forged or stamped etc.
My son and I are using this as a learning experience to do more auto repair. We just replaced trans axles on a highlander so we are not total newbies. But would like helpful hints on the replacement process. Eg I have seen other posts about making sure there are grease points.
