Default leaking tahoe

could someone please tell me what could be causing this: whenevr it rains or when i wash my vehcle it starts dripping water dwn into my front passenger side floorboard. i have a 2005 tahoe. funny thing is that i have a 1999 silverado and it does the same thing. a mechanic told me that it may have leaves clogging up a drain but where do i begin to look for it?

Welcome to the forum.

If you have a sunroof, check the gutter drains for it. Also may be a clogged A/C evaporator drain.
