Default Leveling a 2WD Suburban

Have any of you put on a leveling kit on a 2wd Burb or Tahoe? I have a 2008 suburban z71 ( 2wd ). Try no to laugh. Losing some mpg isn't a worry but how quickly will front end suspension pieces wear out? I mostly highway drive. Rarely pull anything and if it's light off road I take my time. What's the best way? Not the cheapest? Thanks whoever's listening. Marcus in Kissimmee Florida
