Default looking to buy Tahoe

Hello, I'm looking at a 2005 Tahoe 5.3 92000 miles. Just wanting to know if
that is a decent year, pros-cons, etc. I know the newer ones with AFM had some oil burning problems but I'm pretty sure the 05 would not apply? Thanks for any feedback on this 2005.

See if you can get the maintenance records. It is very important on how the truck was treated. Oil and filter changes etc. If it was taken care of, it should be good to go. Take it for a test drive and see how it runs and handles.

Yeah, I figured on doing that. I am just wondering if someone has the particular pros-cons specific to the 2005 year with a 5.3. I'm thinking that is a good year, but just want to make sure. Thanks again.

'05 is a good year. The 5.3 is bulletproof.

Listen for a whining fuel pump, or look in the records to see if it's been replaced. They die around 100k-120k.
