Default lower ball joint and CV axle products??

I need to replace a 4 year old AC Delco lower ball joint on a 07 1500 suburban... boot fell apart leaving it dry but still un-worn for now.
* Any suggestion on a brand that actually lasts?

Also I was thinking of doing the CV axle while in there but hear nothing but horror stories on bad products... boots rip within a year, CV joint click within 2 years... etc.
* Any suggestions on the best option for new front cv axles?

I have a feeling I will be buying OEM GM parts from the dealer ($$$$$) if no one has a better idea??

Thanks,
Ron

I have change several with Moog. Be careful about where you purchase brand names. I used to buy off Ebay, big mistake. I would receive brand name parts that failed.
