Default Lowered with autoride

Maybe someone will know. I put the McGaughys (unknown spelling) lowing kit on a friends 2007 GMC Denali. This kit has drop spindles in front and springs in the back.

Now the main problem (of a few) when putting the kiton I had to bend the autoride (I think thats what its called) sensor linkage to a 90 degree angle and re-install them. After the kit was complete the rear of the vehicle sits lower then the front.

Can I re-bend the linkage to the sensors and make the rear go up a little? (fooling the computer I guess). I dont know if this is possible. Pics are not that good.

Now if anyone is wondering what other problems I had. Since the spindles move the hub up 2in, this also moves the front drive shafts (AWD) up 2in and the drive shaft was hitting the upper ball joint bolt. (The kit does not mention this, it only mention the bottom ball joint in regards to hitting the stock rims). We had to cut the bottom of the top ball joint off to make it work. If he ever wants to go back to stock this might be a problem.

Thanks in advance for anyhelp.

looks good. I guess Im too afraid of all the "other" issues to do this mod on my LT3.
I wish someone would come out with a "package" that allows the Tahoe and its features to work after the drop.

Like an idiot, I did not measure it before. I thought of yours and mine when I first saw it after I finished. You are right it is lower then mine in the back. Thats why I am thinking maybe I can fool the ride sensors by bending them a little more (or less) to add air in the rear shocks to bring it back up a bit. I will try and fool with it. I was hoping maybe ZX would know if this is possible.
We will see I guess.

I dont think he really noticed and he liked it. Today at work I told him it looks like S^%$ and that we need to fix it. He just ok. I work on a lot of guys cars and motorcycles for them. I dont want him telling everyone I did it for him and have it look like crap.
I guess I am just being picky.

Biggmon,
I agree, the rear shouldnt look like it does. HOWEVER, it seems it didnt lower the front much. I think that the front may be the issue, not the rear. I just dont think the front lowered much at all, maybe the rear is correct??? I would call McGaughys' and ask them about this. They are very helpful and know their products and applications very well.

You used the same McGaughys kit on yours, right? Just not the autoride one? WHERE are your pics since you added the flaps? Pics please!

I had mine lowered with the same kit and the rear of my tahoe also sat a little low. I never did any other adjustment and just ended up getting use to it. After a while the front settled down a little and it was even.

I'm getting the McGaughys 2/3 lowering kit and the guys doing the install at WCmotoring said that they needed to get a module to to adjust the autoride in the rears. Are they blowing smoke up my ***? I have no clue.

I'm also paying $650 for the parts and $250 for the labor. Reasonable?!?
