Default lowering/leveling 07

I've been on both the Ground Force and Eibach websites looking for a lowering kit or the rear lowering only. Both websites ask about the "autoride" suspension. I pulled out my window sticker and it is listed as "Prem. Smooth Ride Suspension". Is this the same thing or do I not have autoride?

Has anyone just leveled the rear to reduce the tire gap in the rear? Interested to see what it looks like.

Thanks for the help. This forum is great!

Look in your glove box for the option code tag

Z55 Suspension Package = Autoride

Smooth ride is NOT the same

LTZ's have it

I have installed a 2" leveling kit on my LTZ. There is no difference in ride at all. Smooth as when I first bought it.

Dark One:

You put the leveling kit on to raise the front or to lower the rear? What kit did you go with? How did it go?

Thx

I believe he is referring to raising the front to eliminate the rake. Again, check out the last pics in the How To. Eibach levels the back with the front even with the 2" drop in front.

Illini33,

I used the fabtech 2" leveling kit. Everything went well and make the truck look better. I did change the wheels and tires, using the Nitto Terra Grapplers. I will post before and after pics soon. I know that Skyjacker makes the same kit, daystar, and someone else. No difference in ride, still runs fine.

Anyone know where I can get the Eibach Pro-Truck lowering kit for my 07 Tahoe WITHOUT Autoride suspension. Where is the cheapest? I am having trouble locating it. I use to be able to find them for around 200-250 shipped.
