Just purchased a 14 Burb. I cannot stand the luggage rack. I will be taking the crossbars off. I looked at Yukon XL Denali racks and they are less offensive. These or over $ 600.00 per pair so was thinking about painting mine Summit white to match the vehicle. Has anyone done this and will the paint stick?

 

Krylon makes a "Fusion" paint, which is intended to be used on plastic.
However, getting a color match may be initially difficult.
But, you might do a primer coat of Fusion, then top that with the proper color.
