Those are okay if you need to fix/repair your vehicle of mechaical problems i.e. brakes, water pump,etc... the Factory manuals tell you everything how to remove panels where things are located accurate wiring diagrams and schematics and specs that the generic manuals just can't do. I have made it a point to buy the factory manuals for every vehicle I have owned, they set you back about ~150 bucks but can save you ~1000's in doing your own repairs or even knowing what the the repairs involve if you ahve it done somewhere else. ~150 is dirt cheap for the information you get, you pay that much for a dealer diagnosis.

That brings up a good question that maybe Shawnvw can answer being a certified GM Tech... Shawnvw do you use the manuals and do you have access to anyother information that the public might not?

I'd be willing to bet that GM techs have the Service Manual either on a PC or on-line.

BMoTahoe: don't wasteyour $s on either, especially the Haynes.
