Default max transmission operating temperature

hello. my 2007 chevy suburban LT 1500 4x4 5.3 transmission temperature is running at 205 degrees on highway wwhen i slow down or stop the temp goes down a little . ive gotten so many different answers im confused is this normal temp??

Yes. Completely normal. Normal operating temp is 190-200°.

The "trans hot, idle engine" warning comes on at 265°. And I've done this on multiple occasions to my '08 Suburban, still have the original transmission, and it has 180k hard miles on it:
