Default Motor Mounts?

So I have an 07 LTZ Suburban with just over 200k mile and a fairly new suspension front and rear (shocks, upper and lower ball joints..) but I have recently noticed an odd clicking squeak when accelerating from a dead stop and has now turned more into a thump like sound. It sounds as if its coming from the driver side front end. I just inspected the front end system and found nothing and my last test was to hold the break down and try to accelerate which resulted with the biggest thump with power applied and then another thump when letting of the gas. I cant let my wife do this for me while i look under the hood cause... well you know..."ooopsie, sorry about that" as she rolls over me, accidental of course. Anyways... does that sound like motor mounts??

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

All your wife has to do is quickly hit the throtlle in park when you tell her to do so. Yeah on a Burb that old it MIGHT be motor mounts. Or you cn do it alone by using the throttle under the hood. It needs to be found and repaired thats a given.

Yep motor or trans mounts. With hood open you should be able to see the motor jump doing it yourself in a clear area.

You should be able to leave the hood open and partly stand in the burb while brake/accel test is done. I have been able to verify bad m mounts this way without help.
