I am having trouble registering my Tahoe's VIN at mygmlink.com. I waited more than 60 days and still no luck.

Anybody else here have the same problem?

How many days did you have to wait before your VIN was in the "system"?

 

I registered about 20 times over 6 months with no luck. I finally sent an e-mial with the info andan explanation f mytroubles and they finally did it for me.

 

What does registering it do for you?

 

registering tells you about recalls, etc on your vehicle.

I had the same problem, waited months and no luck. I finally called and the lady on the phone set it right up. It was immediate and I have had 2 recalls since!!

 

But did you notice that they never have info on the recall?

Site also gives you access to owner's manual online and maintenance schedule.

 

wow i never new about that site until now .i just signed up for it it only took me about 5 min it was very easy .

Yup, had mine since October and still won't recognize my VIN. Nice job on the site GM

 

I had the same problem. Bought my LTZ back in April of last year. Tried several times without success. PM'd ZX and he gave me a toll free number and they took care of it for me. Maybe he can post the number for your or you can PM him.

 

An 800 # would be great. I really like to be in the know for any recall info on my ride. I will PM ZX, but if anybody has it please post or if there is an email address I cn send my request to.

I got a number off the mygmlink website and called. The lady was super nice. I waited over 3 months, then called and she fixed it immediately.Very nice lady, very helpful, and super easy. Just call the contact number off the website.
