Whats the part number? Is it 25974486 or 25912408? Thanks.

Will later versions still contain the updates that this version 4.1c has? I just bought the 2008 version last year, dont want to spend another 200 on this years disc. I would like to wait another few years. But if the updates for the rear cam, etc. are only on this version, I just may have to cough it up and buy it.

Might check ebay. I've seen posts where they're available there cheaper.

I found PN 25974486 on ebay, but it says it v4.0. Im not sure if there is a 4.1c out yet, might be a typo from the originator of this thread. I was hoping he could verify the PN for me.

Default Nav Update

Hey folks I'm new to this so please bare with me. I have a 2007 Avalanche LTZ with Nav and back up camera. I'm looking to do an update on the NAV and don't know much about it. Where is the best place to get the update and directions on how to do it.

Thanks

Just got my free update as well thanks to you guys on this great site. I got 4.1.c also and live in Indianapolis. I really love not having to acknowlege the lawyers everytime. Is it possible to make a backup copy of the disc in case the original is dammaged?

Yes it is definately possible I used a freeware app called BlindWrite that copies absolutely everything on the DUAL LAYER DISC, (Important). The deal is you need to make a DVD RAM disc dual layered. I am a Mac person but I could only figure out how to do this on a PC. Prolly cause my 2005 Powerbook does not have the ability to burn dual layer discs, and my year old Sony notebook does.

As a matter of fact my Brother in Denver has a '07 Toyota Camry Hybrid with factory Nav . The NAV units were apparantly developed jointly between Toyota and GM from a company called DENSA. Toyota doesn't give free yearly DVD updates as does GM so we tried copying mine as a experiment and it worked 100% in his Camry,
