Default Nav Radio / Tech 2 programming issue...

Well I went to program my new Navigation radio (part# 20807044) installed on my 2009 burb and everything was going smoothly until I got to the equilizer section of the "RAD" programming section. The TIS2WEB provided me with two cal part numbers to choose from....

<TABLE id=tree cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top><TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD>15260987</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top><TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD>15260988</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
I couldn't select either one because the TIS2WEB software said my vehicle has a cal part number that is newer and not in this version of TIS2WEB. The cal part# 15260989. Then it said contact GM. I have a call into them but have heard nothing back. Shawn, any ideas?

Thanks

Just got an answer back today... they said to select Reprogram Replace ECU instead of the other option. I will give that a try.

I've heard of issues when selecting just the Reprogram option. I have always used the Replace & reprogram option

Well... I programmed everything I could for Navigation.... VCIM, BCM and RADIO.... STILL no traffic on my nav. GM must have either another module somewhere from traffic OR the head units on 2009's are different. I cannot understand this.

I thought about that... but the XM folkds said my current receiver was traffic capable already. They can tell by the RADIO ID.

Well Shawn, you may be right! There are two digital receivers U2K and UBS... UBS is the receiver with traffic I have U2K. I just ordered the UBS receiver and will give that a try. Do you have access to install diagrams? Im wondering if there is a different or additional harness for the UBS receiver.

Where do you see the replace/reprogram option? Is this on the TIS? I am having problems programming my radio but don't remember seeing anything about the replace/reprogram option. It seems once we put the Vin number into the machine it came up with a set of cals where you pick the radio, audio, camera, etc and that was it. Is there something else I am missing here?
