Default Nav radio and XM

Anyone have success removing XM categories? I tried doing this under the menu option, when I remove a category the category dims, but when I scroll through the categories on the radio using the left and right arrows beside the category, they all still show up. Is this menu option supposed to remove them from this interface or from somewhere else?

I have talked to the local 07 chevy rep, and he had said that gm knows about the problem, but he said the same thing....it does not work

funky_junk, after you removed them, did you scroll through the categories when back in the audio tab?

Some of the older 07 units had this problem; there is currently an AMR update available through the dealership service dept.
The AMR update is a disk that the dealer orders through GM, they install this into your unit and it reflashed a new firmware update to correct this and several other problems that have been identified.

If your dealer doesn't have the disk yet, ask them to order it.

Don't remember. I will try again when I run out and let you know.
