Default Navigation Compass Innaccurate- Help!!

On a 2010 GM navigation unit, after being installed and unlocked at the dealer the compass does not work. The arrow on the screen does not rotate as the truck moves. It only points as if the truck is moving east.

Any suggestions???

There are three modes, North is always at the top, direction truck is going is always on top, and the 3D mode where North is on top.

You change by pressing on the icon in the upper left corner. Don't know if that will help.

It turns out some piece needed to be welded together inside, and it fixed everything. Thanks all for the help

I am having the exact same problem on 2011 Tahoe. The GM navigation unit was installed and unlocked at the dealer. The unit works fine with the exception that the compass does not work. The arrow on the screen does not rotate as the truck moves. It only points as if the truck is moving east.

Any suggestions???

I am not currently showing any known navigation issues with Tahoe vehicles within my resources. Have you taken the vehicle in for an inspection? Your vehicle is still under warranty, correct? If you would like, I can investigate your vehicle further, if you PM me your VIN number.

I look forward to your response.
