I am sorry to hear of your frustration with your navigation disc. The navigation discs are designed to work with specific vehicles; they are not all the same disc. The 2008 Escalade disc is not compatible with 2007 Avalanche LTZ.
If you would like to find a compatible disc, please visit the GM Navigation Disc Center at: GM Nav Disc Center - Program Overview or call them via phone at: 1-877-628-3472.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.
Have a great day!
