Default navigation screen open

Hi,

I am new to this forum & have a question. I have searched this forum & others trying to find the answer. I have also looked in the owners manual. I have an 07 and was playing with the navigation & the screen face slid open. I am guessing this is where the cd goes due to a slot behind it. I can not figure out how to close it. I don't see an eject button or anything. I tried pushing on it but I don't want to break it either. I hope someone can help.

Thanks

Look down on the screen and you can see the touch screen button that says close.

Welcome to the forum.

First, the slot that appears when the screen folds down is for the Nav DVD. Not sure what option buttons you were referring to but like JimJ said the "Eject" and "Close" buttons appear on the folded down screen.

The database button in the Nav menu is the one you press to fold the screen down.

I was in the menu button somewhere and it opened. My screen options are: coverage or change or back. Coverage shows navigation of coverage area, change makes it drop down more so I can see where the cd goes but defaults back up slightly to same position and back puts me into menu options again. Not sure how to get cd out if there is one in there.

Did you press the Eject button on the screen? If so and no DVD came out then there's none in there or it's broke.

Did a Navigation Manual come w/ the truck?

There was never an eject button on the screen, just what I posted. There isn't a navigation manual.

So you're saying that the screen is folded down, exposing the DVD slot and there's no "Close" button on the screen?

Here's the closest manual I could find. Pages 59 & 60 have your info.

Correct, there is no close button. My screen looks like page 59 of the manual. No dvd came out when it tilted. I am guessing there is not one in there. If that is the case. I would guess I would need a dvd to get it to say "close"? That seems odd. The navigation does work. Does it need the dvd to work? Is it stuck in there? Ugh... Thanks so much for your help.
