Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
If it worked before and by working, I mean you could enter a destination and it would map it for you and take you there, then there's a DVD in it and for some reason the system is hung up. When I open mine, the DVD is automatically ejected. When I reinsert the DVD, I have to press the Close soft touch on the screen.
The only suggestion before going to the dealer is disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect.
After talking to my local dealer, I fould out the compass will work without the disc but not the streets. So I am guessing there is not a disc in there. No wonder why I never liked it.
Well I got home Friday & checked it out further. I guess it games me the street names so it must have a disk in it. I gently pushed it down then up & "pushed" it back into place. Works fine. Thanks for all the help.
I'm glad to see you were able to resolve the issues you've been having with your navigation. You can get a navigation manual for your vehicle from your dealership or from Helm Inc which is who provides our manuals when customers need replacements. Hopefully that helps you in the future when you look to update your dvd in your system. If you have any other questions or have any concerns with your vehicle you can reach out to me through the forum here.
My nav screen is stuck on the map disc / panel operation screen. You hit close or eject and it doesn't do anything. It sounds like something is moving on the inside but not opening or going back to the radio screen. Is there a way to reset this?

Krisk, I have the same issue in my 09 H2 - ever get it working again?
Maybe try unhooking battery cables for 10 minutes, like a stupid computer re-boot
I’ve even tried touching the terminals together to drain everything lol! I pulled the whole center dash off and unplugged the radio and made sure it was dead-dead and still stuck on that same exact screen. There must be a sensor that reads the display is closed that isn’t getting triggered…
I’m thinking about buying one of those cheap “locked” 25894202 radios from a wrecked Tahoe or something and just swapping my internals into the good hardware.
I’m really lost at this point and want to use my backup camera haha!
