I have a '99 Tahoe that I am looking to replace the exhaust system from the Cats back. I have called a few of the local shpe round here and a lot of them wont do a dual exhaust out the back. Anyone got any good ideas.

I am also looking to get a bit of a throatier sound from the exhaust also. I was told to go with the Flowmaster Super 50 Muffler. What do you guys think?

 

I had the flow master 5 chamber on my 97 Tahoe with dual 4in echo tips out the back and it sounded great... sounded even cooler when I had the barn doors open while transporting long items....

The wife has wanted me to put the flow master on my 07 Tahoe, she says she like being able to hear me roll up coming home from work...
Even the dogs knew I was coming home.. nothing obnoxious but a nice distinct rumble...

 

I had the same setup on my 93 Step side with the 5.7 but I had the 3 chamber flow master with the dual tips that had a really nice sound taking off from a stop...but I also had Doug Thorley headers on the step side...

 

That nice deep rumble is what I'm looking to get out of my Tahoe.
