i own a 1999 tahoe 4 door 4x4, they have 4 spkrs in all 4 drs n 2 spkrs in the trunk space, the issue is that the spkrs in the back doors dont work, anybody have n e idea why besides thinkin that the spkrs r blown

 

Check fader on radio making sure that it is either centered are full to rear.
Remove speaker(s) and use voltmeter to check wire for power to speakers (with volume up) if you get power then replace speakers if you don't get power then test for continuity from the wire harness at the head unit to the speakers if no continuity then track down short in speaker wires (usually at rear door pass through), if good continuity then replace head unit or have it repaired.

 

thanks for ur input, ima try and see this week what the problem is....or i could just leave it the way it is because i willbe installing a few amps into my truck and to the back door speakers that arent working i could just connect the amp str8 2 those speakers

 

im about 2 purchase rims for my truck, i kno i will be safe with 305 45 22 sets but how about 305 35 24, will 24 inch rims mess up my suspension>
