Need Help Please....Question about Tires
Hey everyone,
I am painting my wheels on my Tahoe black and the tires on the wheels have the white lettering on the outside of the wheel. I know I can reverse the tires and put the white lettering on the inside, but I'm not trying to spend money to do that.
I've been searching all over the internet for similar topics and not coming up with too much info.
I've tried the usual Black sharpie, but black sharpies look a little purple for my taste. Tried black markers and checking on some tire dye.
Can anyone help me with any pointers?
Thank you so much for any help.

I checked them out too and found this comment in their description:
Q: Can you use Tire Gel to dye whitewalls and white letters black?
A: No. Tire Gel should be used on black tires only. It will not turn whitewalls black.
So I dont think it will work, I did try the other permanent marker (Marks-a-lot huge marker)I had and it worked, we'll see if stays on there good. I will probably get some of the tire gel to maybe help out though.
Thanks,

Testors paint pen. Can be found in any hobby shop or even wally word (wal-mart). Would be found with the models in the toy section. Or you could even get touchup paint. Apply one coat, let dry then apply more as needed.
