Cool New To Forum, Need Help

I recently purchased 22x9.5 KMC Lo-Fi alloy wheels with chrome lips for my white '07 Tahoe LT2. I need some advice for tire selection. I LOVE the stock ride of my Tahoe on the 265/70/17's. I realize that my ride will not be as smooth with the new rims, but want to maintain the smooth ride as much as possible, meaning I want the beefiest all-season tires with the most mileage that will fit without modification. Someone told me the 305/45/22's will rub. They said either 305/40/22 or 285/45/22 is my best bet. I would prefer as big a sidewall as possible. Has anyone had experience with this issue? Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Might try searching this forum for 22" wheels.

Ended up going with 285/45/22 Nitto 420s and LOVE the ride, which is very close to stock. I also color-matched the grill and bowties. Pics soon!
