New Member and new (to me) C2500 'Burban!
Hello all,
I recently found a diamond in the rough! However, all diamonds need a little polishing.
About a week ago, I stumbled across a '99 C2500 with the 454 and a GOV 10.5 with 190k on the clock. It was truly love at first sight! Picked it up for a good price considering it needed some work. I'll make a quick rundown of the good/bad
Bad:

Here is the heater hose after starting up from sitting over the winter

And here it is after a 5 minute run to the part store (total time to fix <30 minutes)

Its not on the road yet but as soon as I get the transmission out of limp mode, it will be. I'm going to check the input and output speed sensors either tonight or tomorrow as well as the the voltages at the trans connector. I'll update in a different thread when I do that.
What I would like to do is upgrade the headlights to a clean and simple looking ellipsoid (not the crap you get at autozone) or a good parabolic reflector anybody have thoughts or can point me to a thread that has a lot of that info?

Bad:
- Wrecked needs new grill, hood, left fender and right side passenger door
- 4L80-E is in limp mode
- Coolant full of rust (lots of giant chunks)
- Heater hose connector JB Welded to heater hose (I question the PO's intelligence)
- Needs AC condenser and dryer
- Came with new grill uninstalled
- Interior (although dirty) has no rips or tears
- Driver threw in a hitch (uninstalled)
- Doesn't look like its EVER pulled a trailer
- 3.5" drums
- 10.5 rearend
- New (installed) radiator
- No rust on body

Looks good overall and would standout once fully re-built her. I would put G2 extended style fender (once its available).. see more options at 4wheel Fender Flares
