I am looking for advice from you Tahoe enthusiasts.

I am debating on trading in my 2006 Z71 for a 2016-2017 LTZ with Z71 packages.

I love the 2006 (145,000 milage) body style, but wife wants a "newer" car.

What do you think a price range would be for refinishing my 2006 Tahoe and getting it "good as new"?

Honestly, I'd love a new Tahoe but I don't want another 600-700 car payment again. I am curious to know if I could get put $10k - $15k into the interior, exterior, and engine/transmission and have it basically a "new" car?

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!
