Default New Nav DVD Part #25850927 anyone????

Has anyone recieved the brand new updated DVD disk Part #25850927 Version 3.0 yet?

And if so; did you experience any problems with your navigation unit after inserting it?

I wish. The nav disc was missing from my vehicle when I purchased it.
A replacement has been on order since July...

McGuire,
You should insist that the dealer pull a disk from a vehicle that they have in stock and then replace it when they recieve the one they ordered for you so you can use the navigation unit that you paid good money for.

No problems anticipated with the new disk other than your unit may seem a bit confused for an hour or so.

I bought a DVD head unit off eBay (part number 25797978) and installed it using the Tahoe guide on this site (thanks for all the great information). I have been trying to purchase an updated map DVD on eBay. The part numbers and version numbers are kind of confusing.

The gmnavdisc.com website says the 2007 Tahoe uses part number 25850927. It says a 2007 Acadia uses part number 25880099. These head units look alike but are they made by a different manufacturer than Denso?

Can the 2007 and above head units use any of the other GM nav disks?

Thanks!!

No, they must use the correct part #.

Looks can be deceiving; the Acadia Nav unit is made by Delphi not Denso.

Thanks!! I was wondering if Delphi made any of the new style units. Every auction I saw on eBay (that showed a picture of the top of the unit) said Denso. I guess more Tahoe/Yukon/etc buyers replace their OEM unit with aftermarket.

I have been looking for a 25850927 disk on eBay for awhile, one finally came up but it will probably go for close to the $200 asking price. Oh well, I will continue using my trusty 15934919 disk until more of the new ones show up on eBay.

Thanks again.

ORIGINAL: ZX1100F1

No, they must use the correct part #.
Are you sure? Right now I'm using a 2003 Corvette nav disc in my '07 Suburban without issues...
