Default New Tahoe/Yukon question

We are looking at get a new 07' Tahoe or Yukon hopefully by the end of the week and I was wondering if there was anything that I needed to make sure it has on it or if there was anything that has been causing people trouble? I am still not sure which package we will get but it looks like it will be an LT3 Tahoe or the same model Yukon. I appreciate all the help and I look forward to browsing the forum more.

If you think that E85 is something that will be available in your area and you will be interested in using it, then make sure it has the E85 compatible engine.

Other than that it is a great truck.

I would make sure it has 3:73 gears, they are about the perfect gearing for everyday driving.

IMO the rest of the features are what you want and need the vehicle to have. But a lot of people pay little to no attention on the gear ratio.

Landon,
Have you tried the 4.10's?

IMHO the G80 Eaton Locking Rear End is the best $300 that you could spend and is undoubtedly the single most over overlooked item on the order sheet.
Other than that biglg is correct, the 3LT can be equipped identically to an LTZ but without Autoride which is somewhat of marketing gimmick that offers little (to no) benefit to the consumer.

ZX,

I do have the 4:10 gears, but don't know if I have the lockers or not. I sent you a PM with my VIN, don't know if you got it. Let me know if you did or I can send it again.

thanks,

DarkOne

DarkOne,
I got the PM but I need your e-mail address so that I can send a file attachement (.doc) Word format.
FYI, your Tahoe DOES have the G80 Locking Rear end.

Heated front row seats are standard on LT3 and LTZ models.

Heated second row seats are optional on LT3 package and standard on LTZ model.
