New Tires
Ha, you're probably going to get as many recommendations on Brand, as there are users on this Forum
Everyone seems to have their own favorite.
All of the Major Brands make a wide quality selection of Tires, and Type mainly is your choice... just street/hiway use, off the road, a dedicated tire like for very wet climates or if you intend to Tow/carry heavy loads. Make (tell me) that selection baised on your needs/intended use. Of course the cost, Warranty and availability of service would be factors as well. Your choice of that "duty/type", would allow me to suggest a Brand(s) which would be most appropriate.
Now, you can replace with the exact size you have on your Rims now, or...
If you'll give me the exact Width of your 20" rims, and...
The recommended original Tire Size (found on the Tag on the drivers door, regardless of the Rim Size stated)...
I'll be able to tell you IF the size you're running now is the best size, and...
If not, what size will accommodate your Rim and Vehicle specifications best.
I would make that recommendation in the "LT" type, given that our Suburban's are basically Trucks, and the heavier construction characteristics of that type Tire are most appropriate.
Many select a Major Brand Dealer locally, but often times, ordering a set from a Discount Tire Supplier, will save you quite a bit of money, and those Suppliers usually have Mounting Services at a location near you.
There are several of those Discount Suppliers listed on this Site, and one of the most popular is...

im a bridgestone fan as well. but 80K...WOW! the stock tires are great. i also had a set of AT Revo's that rode like a dream (grip handling comfort and weather) on my expy but wore quickly. but it was expected as i read the reviews and stated that the constuction compounds wear faster than normal. either way great tires.
I have a set of General Grabber HTS' (HiWay/All Season) that have been on my ride for about two years now. Besides wearing off the molding tips, I swear I can't see that they have any wear on them. I have a depth gauge, and will try to take time to go out and measure them.
I admit, beyond being witness to a reasonable Wet Traction capability, I have never put them to the "Test", concerning Cornering Control or extremely Hard Breaking.
Hope I don't have to
