Everything looks fine and all works Except the trans temp gauge. Have read it was easy to do in '03's but 04-5-6 need to be reflashed/programed. Chev dealer and a good speedo shop say it can't be done since the truck didn't come with it. Am I the only that has ran into this problem ? Lots of youtube stuff about doing the gauge install but NO mention about how to get to work. Is there someone here in Texas that can do the program task to get it to work ? Thanks. *BW*

 

I have not used this service myself as my Yukon already has a trans temp gauge, but I've seen good reviews of it. And the ad specifically says it will work with the '04 Tahoe.

My understanding is that when you get the cluster back it is simply plug it in and go.
