tire width in mm divided by 25.4 then times the profile then times 2 then plus the wheel diameter gives you the total package height.

Example: 255-60/15
255/25.4=10.04" 10.04 X .60=6.02" 6.02 X 2=12.04" 12.04 + 15=27.04"

But truthfully speaking, yes, that would be helpful if TireRack ever goes off line.

But that does leave a result in mm, so...

Divide 0.03937008 into that, to get Inches.

My answer is in inches cuz I divided the width by 25.4 mm/in.

I only posted it cuz it seemed like he was having a tough time getting his arms around the whole idea.
