no reverse 2002 suburban

fluid is clean and full. Makes a slight whining noise in park and reverse. Will go forward. Will not go into reverse.

you said there is a noise in reverse can you drive in reverse. if you cant i think that your transmition is going bad that is what happed to my dads truck he could only drive in reverse.
