No Sound
I had a 2022 Chevy Tahoe Z71 that didn't have any issues at all. Replaced it after being deemed a total loss after an accident. Bought a 2024 Tahoe Z71 in October and experienced all the same issues you shared with less than 700 miles. Had it looked at twice by the dealer. They weren't able to solve the issue. I ended up talking with the Sales Director and we did a VIN swap for another new 2024 Tahoe Z71. We had high hopes but those quickly vanished. We are now experiencing the same issues. It's disappointing because we really like this brand and vehicle. I guess we'll go through the process which was frustrating the first go around.
Ok, so I have a 2024 Tahoe RST- purchased end of May 2024- week later- no sound. Been in the shop 4-5 times now. Updates, software fixes etc "have been done". They finally saw it in action when I drove it straight to the dealership last Thursday. 2 hours later, they call and say its ready. Walked out to it, radio was on, no sound. So needless to say, they kept it till Monday. Picked it up Monday and today (Thursday) I get in it, and it happened again. The sales manager at the dealership is telling me that it's a software issue w/ Chevrolet and nothing they can do till there is a new update. All of this is very frustrating especially when you work so hard for what you have and purchase a vehicle for that is 82k.
Dealership was NEVER able to figure out what was wrong with the intermittent failure-to-close-sunroof on our 2005 Yukon which was out of warranty. I told them on initial visit that I would pay for a FIX but not for guesses, and they agreed. After several attempts, dealer told me they "had absolutely no idea what is wrong" and I finally got a refund of the $250 I had paid since there was no repair.
Once I got sunroof closed, I took out the fuse to prevent it from opening.
In other words: it appears that dealer service knowledge is significantly weaker than what most folks think !!!

We have a brand new 2024 Tahoe LTZ and all sound will intermittently stop like the whole system is muted. Not even blinker noises. We took it back to the dealership they had it for a week and it is still doing it. Very frustrating for a vehicle that costs over 70k. Anyone have this problem and know how to correct?
My wife drives a 2024 Tahoe RST, She got it back in August. Randomly the sound cuts out, radio, turn signals, just dead. If we park and let it set long enough and start it back up, you got a 50/50 chance of sound happening. She has asked the dealership about it...but low and behold they cannot reproduce the issue.

. (if URL gets cut out search for " 2022 GMC Yukon "No audio" diagnostic for U0186")
This matches up perfectly to the problem we are having.
Possible solution: Amplifier Module or 40V fuse to AmpModule. If it is random like my wife's, it is likely not the fuse, but if you are dead no sound, check that out.
hope this helps people with this problem, we are taking ours to the dealership next week to be very specific about it.

This has been happening since we bought the vehicle brand new. Dealership has no clue...... I go to the settings menu>system>reset options>restart in safe mode. It usually corrects the issue but only temporarily. Lately it only corrects for the day.
