any dtc's set?
any camshaft position sensor signal?
have you checked the under hood fuse box; ecm 1 fuse that feeds both cam and crank sensors?

Fuses are good. Had some diagnostics done at the local shop. No mention of cam position sensor. No codes

does the crank sensor fit into a plastic cover for this engine? If yes is the cover deformed in any way?
