Default noise at startup

I have an 07 Tahoe with 103k miles. Twice now, about a month in between cranks, it has sounded as if something was caught in the fans when I crank her up. I turn the vehicle off, inspect, find nothing and crank it back up with no issue.

It sounds like paper caught in a fan. Just a really big piece of paper and a really big fan.

Any ideas?

Might be liquid freon collecting in the compressor. Try starting w/ the A/C off and see if it quits doing it.

Default noise at startup

i'm having what sounds like the same problem but only have 58K miles. I was told I had carbon build up and needed fuel treatments so I have used 3 cans of SeaFoam with 3 different tanks of gas. the noise went away for about 2 weeks then returned yesterday. I called the Dealership today and was told they will need to look at my motor and possibly replace lifters and/or valve train. I have looked at my manual but have no idea what they are talking about. This sounds pretty serious to me. Any thoughts?

Just tried but didn't work for me. Actually much worse than last timed cranked about 3 hours ago.
