NP 246 Transfer Case Rebuild Help
Hello, I am rebuilding my NP 246 Transfer Case on my 2005 Suburban. My question with the rebuild is mainly the clutch assembly. I have read about using the KENT MOORE TOOL J-44295 to shim it but this tool is very expensive. Has anyone ever rebuilt this clutch and does it have to require this tool or can I just pack everything the way it come apart? Or what is the process of shimming the clutch assembly without using this tool? Thank you.
