Onstar/Verizon problem

While in an area with marginal Verizon coverage, I locked the keys in mt '07 LTZ. (the "convenient" autolock feature). When I called Onstar on my Verizon cell (while standing next to the truck)to have them unlock it, they couldn't get a signal on my truck. They called GM service and they were there in 45 minutes. Is there any way to improve the signal strength for the Onstar/Verizon antenna?

Same proble here on my old '01 and the new '07 in the Myrtle Beach area of SC. Both times, they had to send someone out to unlock. Had a great signal on cell phone but they could not get the code to unlock to the Tahoes///

This will definately solve the signal problem. The only downside is that you need to have an antenna on the outside of your vehicle...

I have several of these in my office. The cell signal just can't get through, but with the in-building versions of these units, we have 5 bars anywhere inside.
