Default P0332 knock sensor

2007 suburban Ltz. Well the compressor went last week. Then a few days ago the wife pulled the door hanle completely off. So I ordered another handle and just finished changing it out in the rain! All done. Get in start it and the CE light comes on. Man, when it rains it pours. Grabbed the code reader. P0332. Anyone have any experience with this.

mine is doing that code now, after washing my burb . It should be the rear knock sensor, I have been clearing the code everyday till I get a chance to remove the intake and replace both sensors and the harness. plus new intake gasket.

Does not look like fun.

I've had that CE light and code since 2007 or so.

Basically your PCM is "trained", at @15K, and the

knock sensors are useless as **** on a boar.

I have been unwilling to yank apart a perfectly

functional engine until something substantial goes

wrong with it. IME, there's no guarantee you'll get

it back together as well as it was. Not to mention,

last time I checked, the replacement knock sensors are

the same drek which was installed as OEM. NO WAY

I'm tearing the top off my engine, and rebuilding it,

every 30 months, for no good reason.

I reset the code yesterday and drove for a few minutes. Shut it off then turned it on. Code came back right away. Reset it again. And drove home. Parked it and left it til today. Got in this morning and started it up. NO CODE. drove around for a whirl running errands. No code. All day no code! Went and picked up an a deli sensor just in case. $12. Still no code
