My service engine light came on and I got a P0332 knock sensor position 2 error. I just did a bunch of work on the truck put in new brake lines, calipers,hoses, belts and egr valve. it seems to coincidental that this error shows up immediately after getting back on the road? how hard is replacing this sensor?

 

Also how bad is it to run the vehicle with this code?

 

Since you said you had just done a lot of work on the truck, I'd check the wiring and connectors to make sure none were disrupted.
